About

The Electronic Music Web is an interactive map of electronic music genres. Each node is a genre; each line shows how genres relate. Open a node for its history, key figures, labels and a few defining tracks.

How it is written

Entries are researched from books, music journalism, artist interviews and record databases, then written fresh in neutral Simple English. Sources are listed on every genre page. Tracks link to YouTube; no audio files are hosted here.

How it is built

The site is fully static. All data lives in one web.json file built from the per-genre source files. There is no database and no server. It is published by Learning to DJ.
